A State Emergency Service is an Australian volunteer organization that will bring emergency support in floods, storms and other emergencies. Each state & territory inside Australia has its own State (or even Territory) Emergency Service, & there are 43,000 volunteers spread nationwide.
Because each community is different, each SES Unit has the slightly different placed of roles & activities. Based in local needs, the Unit might perform occasionally or even 100% one roles:
General rescue procedures & skills -- working safely to dislodge humans from either unsafe situations
Flood & storm preparation & response -- making structures safe when floods & storms, helping population develop for floods & storms & applying specialised devices rather flood boats & chainsaws
Operations management -- serving to coordinate a activities of teams in the field
Media, public relations & community education -- working using a media & a public to communicate safety messages & warnings & to promote a SES to the community
How to educational videos coordination -- portion to project & carry out the training within a Unit
Vertical rescue -- rescuing population from either heights & depths like drop or even ravines
Road-crash rescue -- rescuing population from either crashed vehicles
Logistics -- serving to project training get, distribute & apply resources when you took emergencies
Management -- helping a Unit to redo smoothly
Emergency services liaison -- working by having representatives of more emergency services when you took emergencies
